Ashtanga Yoga

This class is an introduction to the Ashtanga Vinyasa system, a sequence of asanas (yoga postures) integrating breath and movement in vinyasa (flow). This invigorating practice results in improved circulation, a strong body and a calm mind. There is no advance registration for this class.

Basic Vinyasa Flow

This class is for those who are comfortable with basic yoga poses and ready to challenge themselves with an introduction to Vinyasa Flow. The word “Vinyasa” means breath-connected movement. This class focuses on the flow between Ashtanga poses, although at a slower pace than regular Vinyasa Flow classes. A regular practice of Vinyasa Flow Yoga will increase flexibility and strength. It is recommended that participants take several Yoga Basics or Yoga Beginnings classes prior to attending this class. There is no advance registration for this class.

Buff Yoga

Try something new and tough. Buff Yoga is a powerful combination of basic yoga poses that work on flexibility, core strength and elongation, with intervals of fast moving weight training exercises. Participants of all levels are welcome. There is no advance registration for this class.

Forrest Yoga

Kripalu Yoga

Kripalu Yoga is an interplay of body, mind and energy. Throughout Kripalu’s stages, participants move at their own pace. The first stage focuses on body alignment and breath awareness. The second stage focuses on the concentration needed to hold poses. The third stage focuses on meditative, spontaneous and unconscious movements between postures. There is no advance registration for this class.

Yoga Techniques and Energetics
